Get started with a rich and educational Natural History Walk on our Gallery Trail that runs at the edge of the Fortuna River!   After 90 minutes, arrive – with the sunset – to the look out point among the sweet smelling guava trees. From there we have a complete and amazing view to the third most active volcano of the planet.   Arenal Volcano - if clear – will let us see the incandescent avalanches of piroplastic flow… something truly astonishing… At our look out ( in the dark ) the naturalist guide will tell you about the volcano, its history, its reality, past and present.
